According to Pew Research Center, the United States welcomes the largest population of immigrants in the world. More than 40 million people who live in America were born in another country. In the United States, there are many narratives about immigration and yet when polled, most Americans see immigrants as strengthening the country (Pew Research Center, 2020). In this activity, you will explore different perspectives on immigration, including your own, and then interview someone in your community who has experienced immigration.’
